"A Global Catastrophe": Expert Warns of Massive 5G Health Risk
The toxicity of lead has been known as far back as 2000 BC. Yet in the 1920s, we added it to gasoline, which caused a massive number of premature deaths across the world.
Could RF radiation be the next lead? After all, for decades we’ve known that RF radiation has been linked to cancer. If so, a new cell phone technology could lead to massive health risks.
Toward the end of 2018 and the beginning of 2019, cell phone companies began to roll out 5G cell towers.
5G is expected to be a vast improvement on 4G networks, with speeds up to 100x faster.
But there’s a big problem:
Experts believe that there may be some massive health risks that come with this added speed due to the EMFs (electromagnetic fields) they emit.
“You will not be able to walk down a sidewalk without being continuously exposed to elevated levels of EMFs,” said Dr. David Carpenter, Director of the Institute for Health and the Environment at the University of Albany.
“EMFs cause cancer in both humans and animals, interfere with human reproduction and triggers a syndrome of electrohypersensitivity in some individuals, characterized by headache, fatigue and cognitive dysfunction,” continued Dr. Carpenter.
Studies on 5G signals are largely inconclusive. No one really knows what will happen.
Since 5G networks have already rolled out in Los Angeles, Sacramento, and Houston, these unknown risks could be devastating to the health of the locals.
But get this:
The people in these areas may unknowingly be human guinea pigs for cell phone companies.
In fact, a petition with over 40,000 signatures aims to stop the use of 5G until more lab experiments have been done.
“The deployment of 5G constitutes an experiment on humanity and the environment that is defined as a crime under international law,” the petition states.
The World Health Organization considers RF radiation a possible carcinogen, meaning it may cause cancer. Several studies confirm that RF radiation is linked to DNA damage, fertility issues, and cancer.1
Both 4G and 5G networks use RF. So why is 5G so much more concerning than the widely used 4G service?
Experts say it’s because of the nature of the signals. 5G uses an extremely high frequency that loses more power than 4G over long distances.
This means rather than a single tower serving a section of a city, small towers will have to be placed between every four to eight homes.

The close proximity of RF radiation may determine how harmful the signals are.
A group of German researchers looked at 1,000 people living within close proximity of cell phone towers over a 10-year period.2
After five years, the researchers discovered that those within 400 meters of a cell phone tower were three times more likely to develop cancer.
And even worse, they developed cancer at a much younger age.
Although most phones do not support 5G yet, there are many underway, and usage is expected to snowball.
This could become “a global catastrophe,” according to Arthur Robert Firstenberg, a leading activist against the adverse health effects of electromagnetic radiation.
The question is, are the increases in speed worth the risks to our health?
Until more research is done, the best course of action seems to be to steer clear of using 5G and avoid getting close to cell phone towers for extended periods.
