Secret Hand Technique Relieves Stress in 5 Minutes
An easy way to relieve stress
Stress relief — we all need it from time to time. The problem is when our stress relievers take the form of bad and unhealthy habits.
Drinking, smoking, pigging out, using pharmaceuticals, sitting in front of the TV for hours on end — these are all common ways to “relieve stress.”
But these end up making us even MORE stressed in the long run.
And, in turn, we become more and more unhealthy and stressed.
It’s a vicious cycle that often brings with it a plethora of negative emotions: sadness, anger, disappointment, and fear. Even worse, stress is linked to the world's number one killer: heart disease.
But there’s a simple solution: reflexology.
Reflexology is an ancient Japanese practice that has endured the test of time.
The technique we’re going to talk about is a five-minute reflexology hand massage.
This non-invasive, holistic, and natural technique can help reduce stress in a matter of minutes.
Better yet, it requires no expensive products and can be practiced anywhere, at any time, for instant relief.
So how does it work?
Well, the hands have different pressure points that react with different parts of the body and mind.
If you massage those pressure points, you can influence your mind in different ways.
Each finger is associated with a different feeling or attitude and has a direct link to the mind.
If you are feeling stressed, it’s best to focus on your pinky fingers and thumbs. These are the primary stress-relieving areas.
But get this: There are several other emotions and feelings that this technique can help as well.
Here’s a quick breakdown of each finger:
Thumbs can help those with anxiety and worry find peace.
Middle fingers can help those with resentment and anger.
Ring fingers can help those with depression or sadness.
Pinky fingers can help those with stress, pessimism, and self-doubt.

Here’s how you do the massage. First, figure out which feeling is the most overwhelming.
If it’s anxiety, choose your thumb; if it’s depression, choose your ring finger.
Next, wrap one hand around the finger you chose on the other hand (it doesn’t matter which hand is being massaged and which is massaging).
Then squeeze your finger gently (you should not press so hard that you feel pain) for one to two minutes. If your finger begins to ache partway through, loosen your grip slightly.
Last, repeat the previous steps on the opposite hand. If you have multiple negative feelings, repeat the steps on multiple fingers.
Within about five minutes of doing this massage, you should feel a huge relief from stress and anxiety.
For an extra benefit, you can give your fingers a massage with a stress-reducing essential oil along with a carrier oil such as coconut oil.
While these techniques haven’t yet had any scientific studies to back them up, thousands of people around the world have experienced a release of stress using this effortless approach.
Not only is this reflexology massage easy, but it is also free of the nasty side effects that come along with prescription drugs and bad habits.
There's absolutely no risk in giving it a try right now. Who knows? It may just be the solution to a life with less stress.
